Kelly Tysoe is an Artist based in Margaret River, Australia.

Surrounded in the beauty of the South West of Western Australia I am drawn to capturing the moments, places and details that are unique to individuals and their story.

Having studied Fine Art at Curtin University, my approach is expressive yet considered, with a focus on atmosphere, colour and the small details that give a painting its sense of place. I love the process of taking an idea, a memory or a feeling and transforming it into something tangible - something that can become part of a home, a celebration or a shared space. My favourite moment of the painting is the ‘aha!’ moment - when the subject’s likeness has been captured and the story is unfolding within.

Through Brushed Narratives, I create original works that translate those stories into paint - from intimate commissioned pieces and immersive murals to live wedding paintings created in the midst of celebration.
